I'm not one for censorship. At the same time, batant hate-mongering against anyone should be challenged, more-so when it is supported by corporate dollars. Spocko has so far cost KSFO, a Disney owned radio station, substantial advertising dollars by using recorded clips of KSFO shows with hate filled speech against Arabs, Muslims, and basically anyone not a die hard Bush Republican. Corporations should be held accountable for what they allow to air, and one way that occurs is through notification of advertisers of what they are supporting. The Christian Parental groups should not be the only ones allowed to do this.

Okay, this deal where my lj loads up to a page from three days ago for my flist everytime is starting to annoy me. I can work around it, but I don't know why this bug is plaguing me. It doesn't seem to happen at home -- just at work. And I do see anything in my firefox settings that should cause it.

OMG, cold is COLD when it's been gone for over a month. Really cold. My sinuses would also appreciate the storm front deciding when the hell it wants to arrive, though I am amused by how sucky the weather prediction is on the east coast once again compared to Oklahoma.

ya know, I reached my limit today. Completely.

I'm all fine with ignoring general bitchiness from friends and stuff when I know they are stressed, under a deadline, hungry, whatever. I have to be because I'm the same way.

However, when they aren't under those stressors, and I am, and I'm just asking for advice that somehow releases a tirade of yelling and then my request for them to STOP YELLING is ignored, I have no problem hanging up on their asses.

For some reason, I'd just rather if this person would ever go for longer than an hour without apologizing after the fact. Which, I know, is wierd, but I like to enjoy my justified anger and annoyance without any amount of guilt that the other person has already apologized and so I should let it go.

Of course, my justified anger would be less so if they didn't already know that I hate being yelled at. Actually, I loathe being around yelling of any sort. I even don't really like yelling myself and tend to subvert that into destructive tendencies and/or long bouts of silent treatment. After six years, this should be readily apparent.
