This will be a bit varied here....

First off - I have never been so excited to see rain. I'm sorry to the rest of the country that got snow, but here in NJ, I think people will be partying in the streets for us to have rain all day! Here's hoping it takes some of the snow mounds with it so that pulling out of driveways into streets/highways stops being a game of chicken.

hair care ) That said, I'm going to still continue to try to use normally available fragrance-free detergents in the continued belief that a little desensitization goes a long way....especially given how much more sensitive I've grown to perfumes since migrating away from most normally available perfumed products of any sort. (and I still want to meet the person whose bright idea it was to scent the handles of women's razors).

Okay, fandom now :)
So, The Cape is all but canceled. Order reduced from 13 to 10, which means they only have to wrap the show currently in production. Fingers crossed that we actually get to see the Michael Irby episode 9 aired. But that's neither here nor there. On the one hand, I really like this show. For the most part it's well written, and it has interesting back story. But much like that other nbc-based super-hero show, Heroes, it has its problems, and sadly, not as strong as a season 1 plot to pull people in.

Major problem: I like any one of the supporting characters more than I do the main characters of the Faraday family and Chess. That's just wow. And to an extent, I think the writers know this - spoilers ahoy )

I'd much rather watch the Carnivale of Crime be utilized by Orwell to fight corporation-scale corruption a la the Justice League meets the A-Team. That would be fun show!

Ah well, at least White Collar is back. :) Last night's ep was pretty cute. spoiler )
