At least when you are running on 5 days of sleep deprivation combined with a crash course in aerobic exercise courtesy of boxes and 2 flights of stairs. Yes, Yes, I know, not that big of a deal, but all I know is I'm really glad I'd been doing the mini aerobic yoga relatively regularly for the last month because otherwise, I'm sure this would have been much much worse. As it was, only my lungs and heart ever felt like giving out on the box runs, not my legs...they only got wobbly towards the end of the days. They were pretty sore the first couple, but that seems to have gone away...or is so minimal compared to how much my lower back hurts that I'm not really registering. Lower back is completely pulled, but its definitely lightly strained again. Not hurting with every step, but if my purse gets off center, I have to stop from the twinges.

However, after having pretty much any sound grate on my nerves when out in the outside world yesterday, I decided when I got home that I needed alcohol for my nerves as well as for its sedative properties. Purposely waited to take the claritin as late as possible as well (8 pm instead of 4pm as I'd been having to do the past couple of days) in case pseudophedrine plus rebound congestion was playing a role in my early morning wake ups. Then I had a margarita with guacomole and potato chips (sorry, no corn chips allowed here and I can't find pita chips that I can have any more either. However, when you want guacomole, almost anything works as a vehicle! Then again, I used to like to dunk name brand chocolate chip cookies in Dr. Pepper...and how wrong is it that I can't remember the name of that name brand?) while my pork chops cooked.

then found out that on demand still isn't working. And no, the USA site isn't streaming this week's episode of BN either, and so I had another margarita to soothe my fannish soul while consoling myself with the latest White Collar....during when I got drowsy enough that I stopped 3/4 the way through and went to bed!!! At 9pm..

And I did wake up 3 hours later at midnight. However, my throat and head didn't hurt, and after some water and putting my music back on I managed to fall asleep again...not the most fitful sleep for the next 7 hours, but definitely better than the past two nights where I couldn't even manage to fall back into a doze again. \0/

So, that leaves me with needing to finish my attack on unpacking and organizing my place today. Which is fine, I need a day where I don't do much of anything. Speaking of whick, I think I'm just going to dump the stuff from the last two boxes and make a dumpster run before the rains start.

Wish me luck. I'm really really tempted to work from home tomorrow, but I probably shouldn't. I'll probably go in for the morning and if my lower back starts spasming will work for home for the afternoon.

I promise -- the moving babble/venting is almost over.

Soo, old floppy disks - mostly the 3.5 inch hard variety,

If I were to want to erase them (and no longer have any floppy drives at my disposal), would running a magnet over them be enough? If so, is a kitchen magnet enough or do I need a more hard core one?

Also open to other methods of breaking them. Fairly sure some of them still have personal info other than just old papers on them...
