Still loving the apt. However I did tweak my back on the last load I carried up. And then I couldn't find the pedestL base for my desktop monitor triggering another apt run at 10 pm but no I hadn't left it there either C ame home and cleaned bathtubs (cleanest I've ever seen on amove in). At some point in there my right eye starter itching INSANELY. Still bothered me by the time I went to bed, whwen I woke up in the middle of the night AND this morning. My daily claritin seems to have knocked it back soon so here's hoping it qmuits soon. Also send me good vibes about the missing monitor base!

Okay, I think my body has had it. Not doing anything too phyiscal today (in fact, even packing has taken a back burner to finishing the review article - must trim another 142 words!! At least, as I still need to add a sentence or two). However, its extremely hard to do either one when my body randomly goes through random half-hour periods of severe nauseau combined with hot/cold flashes. Not cool. Though somewhat understandable given all the cardboard/dust its reacting to (eye stopped itching an hour after I took my claritin) and the fact that I woke up at 4:30 wide awake with bad sleep before that....I guess I should just be glad that i didnt' have my normal move-induced nightmare that tends to trigger me into full blown sleep walking/wall climbing, eh?

I guess I didn't look too hideous as the comcast technician left his number with the edict that he wouldn't tell me his name again unless I called him for drinks sometime.

Oh, also, so annoyed at comcast, technician aside. The menus are frakking confusing, the search function doesn't work for setting dvr programs (that or i'm not fully in the system) and I can't access on demand yet!!!!! Me wants my tv I missed this week dammit!!!!!!

Yes, I think I need to go take a nap when I finish this article. First I think I'll take a walk to see if I can get the brain functional again before I start trimming as the tea doesn't seem to have done the trick.

Oh, but I must give thanks to being back on real internet as I can easily change my post icon again :)

Seriously, it should not be harder to drill into my bookcase than it is to drill into my wall...or at least that's my opinion.

Was attempting to attache the furniture restraint so I wouldn't have to worry about it falling over on top of me ever, and man was that a bitch. First, the screws supplied with the bracket were too large to actually screw into the hole of said plastic bracket.

Digging through tool kit, I found some that were a better fit (not great, but no fear of the plastic cracking when I forced it). Then trying to screw above my head, I had images of slipping with the drill and screwing into my hand instead graphic reason why this is actually plausible )

However, got the wall screwed in with a little difficulty. After measuring, went to do the same to the bookcase and I swear the screw tip would fairly bounce off the glossy particle board-like backing instead of going IN. Was about to give up when I remembered that my drill actually comes will drill heads as well as screw tools. Got one out, and after more pressure than should seem necessary to go into any type of wood (in my limited drilling experience) I managed to make a hole and get the bracket screwed in.

Crazy crazy crazy.
