aww...crud. So much for working out...stupid headache.

And will have to break down and call landlord about bathtub glaze before cold ass part of winter is over. Glaze is bubbling in ever new places far way from where it peeled off as well as the discover of a new color I've never before seen in it before. Blechhhh. Why couldn't idiot have done it the first time. Why couldn't I have noticed the big ass bubble I mistook for a shadow thanks to bathroom lighting the day after instead of a couple of weeks when it was cold.

Ahhh well. Cleaning here we come.

Okay......did some flist pruning of communities that don't seem too active or haven't really captured my attention as well as those whose posts have diverged wildly from my interests. Sorry for lack of warning, but really, nothing personal:) I'm just too lazy to go to my customized friends view always so decided it was time to do my first prune.

In other news.......I have decided I am most definitely not able to write romance....or at least not comedic romance yet. Been waiting for months for somemthing to come to me for Susanna's story...but nothing. Nada...zip. Siiiiigh. Ah well...thought of way to further the plot I had w/out revising anything previously written (not that it couldn't probably do with a bit of polish.....but am lazy. Perhaps someday when I get close to the end I'll do it....which actually might be sometime in this year as the idea I had come to me last night will speed me up on my very very very very vague outline. Like maybe five more chapters depending on how things work out.

Hey, cassiee, think we will ever do anything with that collaboration story we discussed way back when during the insanity of awards??? Just curious as the bunny keeps whining over here.

Okay....so Maryland had snow today. And Brian went home to Baltimore for the weekend. He expected his dad would throw him out of the house early today due to weather. And he told me friday he'd call so I'd know he got back here to philly safe. So now it is 9:30 pm and I haven't heard from him since 5pm Friday. Worry much?? Have called him 3 x but he's either not getting reception or has phone off. I texted him in case he's still at his house since he doesn't get reception there. I dont' want to call his parents and worry them though in case he's left. He'd kill me if I did that. So yeah....getting a teensy bit worried here. so if you see a short muscular white guy w/ dark hair standing by a wrecked black Mitsuibishi Mirage somewhere between Baltimore and Philly...give me a a wave please!!!

Okay, to distract myself, I will list the things I worry about in my writing for those who may ever want to give me constructive feedback.
1) Okay, I know I suck sometimes on verb tenses. I generally figure that if it sounds fine, it's right. But I know this doesn't always apply. So if you see a prob, tell me (except for my firehigh xover....I know I have a shitload of mistakes coming from that being the story I had trouble figuring out how to get pictures in my head into words on the computer screen).

2) Umm...so no....I don't pay attention to details. So if you catch me having Mal call Simon "simon", and you know for a fact he only calls him "doctor/son/boy" tell me. Same for other characters.

3) Plot Pacing -- I really worry that I give away the plot too soon sometimes. I mean, I try to do suspense and such, but well, maybe I do give it away too soon. Dunno how to explain that any better.

ETA 4) How to deal with a name in a sentence. Okay, so I know that technically it should be set off by commas. Does this always apply? Cause sometimes when I hear it in my head, I don't hear a pause as is implied by a comma -- such as an order. Hmmm...

BTW, what the hell does ETA stand for. I've been trying to figure it out for weeks now and it's going over my blonde little head. Thanks.

Umm...that's all I can think of for now. Flist, feel free to distract me from my worry assuming my internet cooperates...it's acting wonky again tonite right when I need it not to!
