Okay....I confess it. I'm in love w/ the first three chapters of Camouflage. I keep changing minor words here and there, but they are as close to perfect as anything I've ever written. Only problem, not so much love for the rest of it. *sigh* Going back and doing VERY critical edit while making notes on plot points in what I hope will be an effort to determine if I give too much away too soon as well as possibly gain some direction for the rest of it. Sigh. Must break habit of only knowing the beginning of a story. Easier said than done. God...and I shouldn't be so in love with something that blatantly misrepresents a character so badly. Keep thinking I picked the wrong one to do the AU for. Ah well, too late now and now way I'm reworking all of it.

No, no word yet on Brian.

He better have lost/broken his cell phone.

Well the dumbass turned off his phone most of the weekend cause people were calling him too much *glares* He is now driving back to Philly.

He's still in trouble.

ETA: oh, and no, no feedback either.

Okay...medium finally did what I'd been hoping it would do. I think the writers/directors hit their stride here. It was funny when it should be, angsty in the right place, and indignant too. Some of the dialogue could have been sharper, but it was a terrific episode.

Briefly -- basically they had Arquette's character facing possibly being outed as a psychic in court (which would have ruined the case) as well as dealing w/ a lot of other stuff. Really showed the tension over her gift w/ her family and how even she isn't good at seeing the forest through the trees. I LOVED THE ENDING THOUGH. OMG...so hard to not spoil it for you all. It was perfect!! next week looks to be good too, so watch!! Seriously, this is really shaping up to be the best scifi/fantasy/mystery on tv. Okay..not so much on the mystery, but suspense is there, believe me.

Okay..now for a rant. WTF is up with every single frigging show w/ a family in it showing parental figures dealing w/ stress over a bottle of alcohol? Seriously? I mean, used to there was this huge stigma against alcohol in shows and such but w/ the erasure of "smoking" from TV, it seems to have made a comeback. I mean, what kind of a message is it sending? Or am I the only person whose parents absolutely never drank on a regular basis. In fact, I could probably count on both hands the number of times my parents have drank in front of me at parties/picnics/restaurants/etc. And only once have I ever seen my father drunk. I don't know....maybe I'm just more sensitive to it since I come from a family that has a lot of addiction problems in its tree (not my parents, but extended). Just wish that shows wouldn't attempt to "place" alcoholic beverages. I can understand wine at dinner, drinks in a club scene, but when you have people sitting on a beach and can clearly ID the brand they are drinking from the shape of the bottle? You know someone paid to have that added.

Okay..enough ranting from me.

Oooh...And [livejournal.com profile] fleshlycherry gave me feedback:):) It was a nice pick me up seeing as I don't seem to be getting any feedback results from Brix's feedbackathon. And was such nice non-gushlike feedback in spite of whatever her typing says:) LOL.

Grrrr...need to figure out what is up w/ my kitchen sink. Definitely time to graduate and move before this apartment totally goes to pieces. Hopefully I just need to decalcify the Brita Water attatchment...May see if Brian knows anything more about plumbng than I do. Boy does have penance to do after all.

Okay...umm...so this is scary:

Wackiness: 36/100
Rationality: 40/100
Constructiveness: 36/100
Leadership: 56/100

You are a SEDL--Sober Emotional Destructive Leader. This makes you a Dictator.

You prefer to control situations, and lack of control makes you physically sick. You feel have responsibility for everyone's welfare, and that you will be blamed when things go wrong. Things do go wrong, and you take it harder than you should.

You rely on the validation and support of others, but you have a secret distrust for people and distaste for their habits and weaknesses that make you keep your distance from them. This makes you very difficult to be with romantically. Still, a level-headed peacemaker can keep you balanced.

Despite your fierce temper and general hot-bloodedness, you have a soft spot for animals and a surprising passion for the arts. Sometimes you would almost rather live by your wits in the wilderness somewhere, if you could bring your books and your sketchbook.

You also have a strange, undeniable sexiness to you. You may go insane.

Of the 86292 people who have taken this quiz since tracking began (8/17/2004), 5.5 % are this type.

Umm..yeah, that's me to a T....except the wilderness part...I'd only do the wilderness if it was a climate controlled cabin w/ immaculate bathroom and no bugs!!
And umm...it's scary to realize that I think Brian and I have eerily the same personality. It's just that the only people we seem to be able to cooperate w/ are each other. Okay..so he used to actually be much more tolerant but went through some trauma in college. 'Nuff said.

Dictator Jebbypal Has a nice ring to it, no?

Oh and you too can take the test here: http://hokev.brinkster.net/quiz/default.asp?quiz=Better+Personality&page=1
