Well I did it, used up the gift card. Decided to go w/ the Shield. I will get Boomtown eventually I know..but I still vaguely remember the episodes so why not try something new. now to just wait for 4-14 days:P stupid hastings.

Boyd, Satan's Right Hand

Okay, little teaser of the only good thing Point Pleasant has going for it right now for those of you who haven't watched. Grant Show, who plays Boyd, has single handedly stolen the series. If the writers are half way intelligent, they'll see that they only have 2-3 actors capable of acting on the show, and of these, Grant is the the best. Honestly, as minions of evil go, he rivals Nathan Fillion's turn as Caleb. It is just plain fun to watch Boyd revel in the evil. Seriously, try to catch a scene of him before the series is canceled. Well worth a half hour of boredom to catch him in a scene in which he actually speaks (though he does well at stealing scenes he doesn't speak in too).

Yes...someone besides me finally entered the challenge on the_official. Their icon is oh so much better than mine, but that's not the point!!! :) Gives me hope that we might actually have a contest someday!

Oh...I have a question for all you Farscape fans. Belatedly realized that I missed the chance to buy some farscape dvds since I decided on the shield. However, should I wish to purchace them in the future, can someone clarify for me the issue w/ the starburst collections? Do the three collections contain all of season 1? That's my understanding is it's a rerelease w/ more extras separated into different packs? Cause those three together seem to be cheaper than the complete season one....not that I have the money to do either of those things. but I could splurge for valentine's day and buy myself the first collection of season 1. I just want to make sure that if I do that I can eventually end up w/ all of them.

And yes...I know you can rent this stuff from netflix, but I currently don't have the time to be certain I can watch enough dvds to make a netflix membership worthwhile.

Really, I am. But..But....I downloaded a vid today, a vid I downloaded primarily to hear another song by Tom McRae.....and now I want to buy a farscape dvd. Found the vid through crack_van, you can find the post here. It's by fialka and is mostly John Crichton centric (not that that means alot to me other than, yum. Actor is cuuuuuute! Why didn't anyone tell me?). If any of you 'scrapers on my flist haven't seen it, go download. Must be good if it can make this much of an impression on someone who has never seen one second of the show!!

So now I want farscape....but I know Febuary will be soooooooooo busy! So I shouldn't since I'm already getting The Shield. Butttttt still, he was sooo cute:) Oh well, we'll see how strong I am.

In other news....my muses are only having the tiniest of tingles for original stuff....not any of the stories that I could actually finish/produce on this weekend. None of my original ideas are even close enough to fruition to do anything productive on. Well...maybe my one that I hope to be a short, but I'm no longer happy w/ what I wrote. Shrugs. Ah well, I know the muses will return as soon as the stress hits proper like.

Oh and a shout out to docmichelle. I haven't forgotten the beta...just not been in the state of mind to beta well:) Will finish it by next weekend though at the latest.

Plan for tomorrow: Get up and throw my ass at the gym otherwise I'll never go.
