I guess they finally decided they wanted to get rid of the majority of their base. I also don't understand sites and major changes like this. Surely I'm not the only one that HATES change on user interfaces and site schemes with a fiery passion. I stop using news sites for jacking with it too much.
So, if you are considering the jump to dream width and need invite, let me know (not sure if they are required anymore or not, but I've never used mine). Interface is the same as classic lj with a couple changes for HTML coding language, but has wonderful help pages.
I'm Jebbypal there too. Comment if you don't plan to make the jump so I know to bookmark your page before the enforced switch to ugly style for friends page as I won't be using that bit would rather just visit your individual page or figure out how to make a dw feed.
At least I have the permanent account so it's no money out of my pocket for their stupid changes.
