Remember guys, I may be the entire reason our skynet overlords haven't moved against us.

Okay, so the "touch function malfunction down the center of the screen" on my iphone resolved itself spontaneously the night before I was going to go to the apple store. Siigh.

And it has since worked perfectly for a couple of weeks. Until yesterday.

It had been sitting on my desk all day. As usual, I'd been listening to music. I did not drop it. I did not static shock it. I was not touching it.

The music suddenly started pausing and starting itself spontaneously. Odd. But okay. I reset it.

When it started, it automatically started opening and shutting random programs, even typing randomly in chat (it never hit send thankfully) and the search screen. Odder and odder. I reset again.

Same thing.

Okay, that makes a smart phone kind of nonfuctional, and possibly harmful if whatever is possessing it decides to send spam or dial 911. So I decided to go to the AT&T store that night and just give in to the inevitable and trade it in for a new phone. And suck up the money loss.

So I go into the store, and it's a long wait. I'm bored. I'm hungry. I take the case off my phone. I start to play with it. The ghost malfunction? GONE. *head desk*

I decide to go home and watch it on the drive -- no issues. I get home. I leave it alone and eat dinner. I then pick the phone up, and start to use it to check my email etc. Suddenly it starts typing a gobblygook email by itself.

Seriously??? WORST SUPER POWER EVER. I was tempted and let it go on it's own for 5 minutes to see if it would have an ouija board function, but then I started to get very creeped out and turned it off.

I just updated it. Ghost is still there and still not speaking any language I recognize. It also hasn't learned how to play bejewled or peggle.
