Will someone explain why my flist keeps booting up two days behind when it actually is? and I have to refresh or go to another page and hit the link to come back to fix it. Gah, annoying me.

You know, the posting interface isn't that bad. It's just, I dunno, they used to tell us when they were changing things. Not like I'm going to leave lj or anything -- myspace makes me nauseous and vox, well, gah.

Everyone finally went down for the holiday meal and it's QUIET. They were getting very hyper with the anticipation of free food and all. Which I actually could have dealt with if the secretary's bad philly accent doesn't make me flash to how I had bad hick accents. Because given the level of most of the words she uses, she actually comes off more like that.

Sorry, for anyone new, I have issues with certain vocal tones. Hers, definitely pushes every irritation/rage button I have. It's a flaw, and I doubt it's going away.

There is a nasal quality to an upper Midwest accent that drives me absolutely insane. The vowels are all long and drawn out in a very nasally whine that makes my hands form fists involuntarily. I'm one of those people who will pick up the accent of an area I'm in if I'm there long enough, so I try to be very mindful of not talking like Lily Tomlin's Josephine.
