Okay, the sun is out and it's almost supposed to be warm today, yet my post return to philly bad mood has finally descended. Which I rather don't like, but then again, I don't really like this city (or what I do every day), so that's no surprise, is it? I also stayed on the phone too long w/ B this morning and the conversation descended to the point of where we always get when we're both down. Blech.
This will not stick. I'd prefer to not let the winter moodiness start hitting me this early (though I guess some of you might point out that it never really lifted after last winter). Of course, not helped by the fact that I have two more poster presentations to give this month. At least I don't have to make a poster, that part is already done.
*shakes self* Enough of this. Go to work and focus on work. Come home and maybe do some lighthearted writing before Supernatural comes on. The supernatural/farscape crossover should do the trick. Stop thinking about how I should be calling home -- that downer can wait until the weekend. Wake up tomorrow when my alarm actually goes off and get my butt to the gym to burn off some of this toxic cortisol.
Oh, and I've officially od'ed on chocolate chip cookies. I was craving sweets all weekend in SC, probably because everything sweet that I looked had corn syrup in it, so I made a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies on Tuesday night. I've eaten approximately half of them since. :P Okay, some picspams have made me smile. And after all, we do technically have control of the Senate as well if the independents actually stick to their word. If nothing else, we definitely have the numbers to do a full on filibuster without worrying about the republicans completely gutting robert's' rules of order.
Smile, it produces happy making hormones. I need to reload my grover icon. Ah well, Venture Bros will have to do.
