Just read the SN recaplet at TWoP and found out why
cassiee was reminded of me. Last week's ep was set in Philly.
Why the episode was not realistic for philadelphia:
1) No panhandling bums assaulted the boys as they were digging in the abandoned lot.
2) Did they go to a restaurant or coffee shop at any time? I bet they didn't have the appropriately rude wait staff experience. Then again, I don't know if I've ever been out at a philly restaurant w/ anyone as pretty as them. Maybe they would have gotten better service.
3) I know they got coffee. While they could do starbucks I guess, the appropriate philly place to get coffee is either Au Bon Pain (also known as the most expensive fast food place ever and some of the worst coffee on the planet) or Dunkin' Donuts.
4) Dude, Dean stole a cement mixer in Philly??? Has he never watched any mob movies??????????
I'll have to rewatch before I can make more comments. Still, I'm really looking forward to Drive ever since I read the interview w/ Tim and found out they are going to use green screen technology to photoshop in exterior shots of non-CA locales. I can't believe no one has ever done this before in TV. Granted, SN doesn't have the budget, still!!
