Broke is an understatement

Okay,, I've gotten cracked discs from netflix before, but this is ridiculous.

One side of the disc is cracked up to the hole in the center PLUS there are three indentions in it in different places as if someone tried to drive a nail through it multiple times. Plus, the metallic area in several places looks like it's been burned off with acid or something.

Unplayable. Is there an option for beyond broke?

me guesses that netflix doesn't even glance at the discs when they are returned.

Dang, and I was thinking about getting Netflicks... I dunno. Is it usually good? 'Cause I'd live with having to do a little whining now and then if it's generally good.

Oh, it's generally good. And if you do get a damaged disc, you just report it online and they send you a new one while you send the damaged one back. And if one gets lost in the mail, they don't penalize you unless it becomes a "habit".

Oh, that's very cool. I miss out on so many stuff I don't wanna buy, so I'll probably get it.
But, heh, I gotta agree with them not looking at the disks. It's amazing, really.

I don't know about Netflix, but Gamefly was always losing stuff in the mail. Gotta hand it to those people. At least they notice when things don't appear.

I think they mainly rely on folks telling them when they get a disk that isn't playable. Whoever damaged that one certainly didn't report it. Maybe you reporting in will put a red flag on the last person who had it. *shrugs* Or it was something that happened in the mail process. In any case, report it was damaged and you want it and they send you a new one very fast. We just had to do this because our disk was scratched beyond playability and they sent us a new one before our old one got to them. *loves netflix...but for the time they sent me "I know what you did last summer" instead of a disk of LFN*
