Deadwood may be done

What the hell? First Carnivale, which okay, I can somewhat excuse because I know the audience was small, and now Deadwood???? Really, it seems that HBO is determined to be the cable Fox in regards to genre shows. I haven't seen the second season, but somehow, I wonder if this is what the producers/writers had in mind w/ such a short run of a fabulous show. The article doesn't quote any of them, just mentions that the actors and such have been released to find other work.

Gaaaaah.

Damn. That sucks--I've only seen a couple eps, but it really seemed good. *sigh*

And to download. I don't have cable, poor me. My brother dl's stuff and then we have to make time to watch together... It's a thing. But with our usual shows ending for the season, we'll probably get back to Deadwood.

Deadwood Season 2 is released on DVD on May 23, enough time to catch up before Season 3 debuts on HBo on June 11.
