Mac question

As much I loathe them and they loathe me, still they are occassionally the only computer free in the lab.
However, while I can log onto LJ on them, I can't get Apple Safari or Explorer to let me view my friends page or even recent entry page. Explorer just won't while Safari tells me that there were too many redirects to process. I try typing in the "new" address and get the same error.
Any of you Mac people got a clue of how to fix this?

Date: 2006-02-01 07:16 am (UTC)Point in fact --- yesterday MS word on the mac refused to work properly at all. gaaah. hate the things hate them. It's like .... well, it actually reminds me most of the frustration I had from ages 5-9 trying to learn how to ride a bike. It's like suddenly I'm forced to do everything left handed and the mac clouds my brain or something.
Thanks for the help though, I'll see if I can fix it so that at least when the frustration gets too great I can flee to the prettiness of flist.
