Okay, I'm beginning to think I was hit w/ several massive power surges or have been kidnapped by aliens during the weekend.

Now my cell phone is fried. Refuses to turn on or anything. And it was fine this morning--unplugged it after recharging it. Turned it off because I hadn't in a while and then turned it back on....thought it turned on fine.

Except, dead now. Deader than a doornail.

I've never had a cell phone DIE on me.

Do you think it could be the wiring in your building? If they're doing work because of the condo changeover....

but it's sunday...nomatter what, unions don't work on sunday.

Well, I didn't mean they were doing work on Sunday. But if they were doing electrical work at all, and messing around with the wiring in your building it could cause surges and shorts. I had the problem in a very old building I lived it. The wiring was just ancient, and it blew up my very lovely electronics until I invested in some hard core surge protectors.

Yeah, cell phone is only electronic not on a surge protector. But mp3 player is on one! *shrugs* I got no clue.

I'll chalk it up to karmic dues.
