When should Strawberry voting end?
Sep. 5th, 2004 03:59 pmHi all. It was brought to our attention that some will not be able to finish reading all the finalists by the currently announced end of voting. Since we really do want everyone to participate that's interested, I'd like to ask everyone to go to http://lurid-eidolon.org/fireflyawards/viewtopic.php?p=179#179 and let us know when the best time to end the voting would be. *judges, please don't vote in this poll, I know you are just as eager to see the results as we are*
And I apologize for have been so in a hurry to get this all finished up. Just eager to have this years awards over so I can have a break before beginning to contemplate any changes we might institute next year:P Seems alot longer than three months that we've been focused on this, but it has been fun. Was a little surprised that I myself had missed so much great fanfic!
In other news, writing seems to be going very very slowly. I think my editing binge on thursday to finish my sample for the possible "volunteer" job has cause me to be insanely over critical. Course, could just be I'm trying to force the muse a little too hard during this rare three days of no work! Probably the last free weekend I will have for a while. Hopefully, my editing voice will leave my head when I read back over the latest draft of Camouflage Ch4 so I can send it to my beta without feeling too guilty.
CassieE, Nysie, Hope things are boring for both of you in florida and that the storm moves calmly and quickly out of the state. Same goes to anyone else in florida reading this.

Lots of rain and wind, fence has not gone yet. ~pouts~ What can you do. Also, mom foolishly went to work, and they were gonna close the bridge, she uses to cross it, so she might be stuck there.
Oh, and the dog is in the garage..hopefully not chewing on any of the few food cans we have. Last I check he was behaving though... ~shakes head~
