Well, they at least dressed him in a really hot shirt for the entire show. That's something.
Umm...You know, it's bad, I could almost like this show. The acting is decent and the writing is horridly sickly sweet all of the time. But still, it yanks on the emotions waay too much. And really, plots that are see through from the second minute. Did anyone not know that she was going to fix up the transplant recipient w/ the woman that tried to kill herself?
Though the only thing I'm confused on was the guy laughing manaically at the end --- I was talking to my mom and had it on mute and may have missed something due to bad closed captioning. I was getting the impression though that this might have been something "evil".
The dead nurse that helped her find the transplant recipient's name was pretty cool though.
And what kind of name is Connor Donovan? I mean really!
This is the first one I've seen in a couple of weeks. It's not getting stronger as it goes on, but the cheese factor is still funny. And as long as Spiner's character or the dwarf is on, it's actually interesting.
The guy in charge (JT?), umm, can someone get him acting lessons? Really, the part about him going on about his son on drugs, so not touching.
And the whole plot -- suddenly this thing can copy itself onto electronics? So how come it hasn't copied all over the place yet? I mean, a) we had lots of computers, and I'm betting cell phones, at the school dorms. b) during the pilot episode, they BROADCAST the signal through the air and attracted all those people. Didn't they have cell phones? Or any ATM's in the vicinity? Or even houses w/ computers? Really, think about the continuity of the show when you are writing these episodes people. Also, it would be more believable if this thing was infecting the whole "biological" computers that are being developed in places. I don't remember the details, just remember hearing about them.
Also, the fact that the "virus" can transmit from just six seconds? I was more expecting that we'd find out that the infected girl would turn out "wrong" because the entire program wasn't copying into her or something rather than it just taking "longer". That or it somehow made her pregnant..which frankly, would be more believable to me.
This season still isn't pulling me in. I just really don't like the new woman or guy working w/ Epps. *shudders* I don't know why. Okay, the woman, it's her voice and mannerisms, but still, the rest of the storyteling just isn't compelling. I'm probably just burnt out on procedurals though.
