Gryphonrhi has a wonderful grasp of the characters both in Highlander and in Burn Notice which completely makes this one of the best Burn Notice fics out there. In case yor Highlander is as fuzzy as mine, not to worry, at the end of the story, Gryphonrhi gives you a reminder of who each character is.

Other than that, it's hit and miss. I generally find a little every holiday or so. I think crackvan did a rec one month for small fandom. And then there's the weekly prompt community that I run (but sadly has in between participation depending on where the fandom is at -- but did involve 2 ficathon/exchanges that has some good stuf):
