gakked from
luridmuse. Posted because I'm scared of how the shower will feel to my head right now. And I finally found a position that doesn't hurt.

Date: 2005-06-17 08:37 am (UTC)I love your take on the characters that you write -- you bring a great voice to your work that has really grown since I've started reading your ficlets *feeds the five things river slayer bunnies*
Additionally, you never hesitate to throw out comments of support. I'm continually amazed at the quality of people I've met through LJ and you rank up there as one of the best.

Date: 2005-06-17 08:34 am (UTC)Luridmuse aka shdwdrgn:
You rock hon:) Seriously:) Though art one of my graphic goddesses that answers my prayers probably more than I deserve:) Additionally, you are a giving person to a fault and I dedicate myself to hurting those that take advantage of that...just as soon as I get more ammo for Vera and meet them:)
I love having you as a first reader and a beta, your enthusiasm for my work keeps my muse well-fed while causing me to think through your reactions. It always betters the story and causes me to think of things in a different light.
You listen to me bitch and moan and when I finish, you've always said something that makes me smile again. You have truly been a very bright spot in some of the darkness of the past year. *huggles you*

Later. *eg*
Hope you feel better. I've been having non-stop headaches all week, fall-out from the wreck. I actually feel ok this morning--I'm just waiting, though. :(

Date: 2005-06-17 08:40 am (UTC)How could I fail but to love the only other author to attempt the firehigh to my knowledge:)
Your writing rocks and I'm very humbled to have read some of your original works. I can't wait to be the first person to buy one when it's published.
You are ever generous with your advice when I need it and a great fount of info. Fun convos, interesting facts, and a fellow midwesterner, I've really enjoyed getting to know you. *smooches*

Date: 2005-06-17 11:19 am (UTC)No but seriously:):)
I love you for being my grammar nazi that my brain apparently needs after 10 years of science. I also love your oh so slightly skewed perception of the world and our shared hate of most other humans:)
Plus you make watching lost fun:) And you are oh so easy to pimp shows too :) LOL. All I have to do is mention leather or how the main character makes fun of everyone incessantly:):) LOL.
*hugs* Oh, and how you crack up anytime I pull out a hamster icon:)

Date: 2005-06-17 01:17 pm (UTC)I feel you to a certain extent about the science thing. Man, I'm like the nazi in my anthro classes too. I firmly believe that every academic discipline that requires writing (which is, ya know, ALL of them) should contain, as part of their graduate degree requirements, a creative writing course. Because science writing, even social science....ooo, it's bad. I'm sure the quality of your writing is far above and beyond anyone else in your dept. Because it's really good :)
LOL I am a FANDOM WHORE! *shame* A dirty, dirty, up-against-the-wall-in-an-alley, fandom whore.
And, um, doesn't everyone feel that way about leather pants? *confuzzled*
HAMSTER ICONS ARE LOVE!!!! ROTFLOL I particularly love this "cheese" one. Oh, and Hamster Angst. *hearts* Hamsters are inherently funny. As is cheese. It's like badgers - badgers are inherently funny. And lint.
Is this that "oh so slightly skewed perspective" thing again?

Date: 2005-06-17 05:43 pm (UTC)*hee, I love how we started talking through fanfic critiques...so much better than getting an annoyed response from someone or the comment deleted.
*Yet another person I know in Cali who I can crash w/ when I finally abandon this dark morass of smells for somewhere sunnier w/ less...umm..strange looking people who revel in their strangeness.
*woot, love the dark angsty simon fic and I must feed your bunnies. (I also plan to read the original stuff you posted as soon as the current muse bash abates enough to allow me to actually read)

Date: 2005-06-17 05:40 pm (UTC)*I love your ability to kick some sense into our friends when they disappear too far into real life (or just fail to check in with us)
*I admire your prowess at stalking :)
*You, with cassie, pushed me into the farscape love for which I will be forever grateful as well as several hundred dollars poorer.
*I think you are the only person I know who is more addicted to reading than I am.
*You's great to talk with and have the most interesting stories about all your odd jobs:)
*huggles*
