You know...I just realized that the same week that Kuwait FINALLY gave women the right to vote is the same time that some nitwit in congress decided to propose a bill prohibiting women from participating in any ground fighting.

Avoid? C'mon, they're so aiming to have it instituted somehow. Probably shortly after the "national crisis" that requires Dubya to stay in office well past 2008.

Yeah, but somehow I find it difficult to imagine Frist in the top job. He seems better suited for the parliamentary brawling he's been up to recently.

Any guesses who the Republicans might bring out for the 2008 elections? (At this point I'd say it's fair to think there's no chance in hell Quayle will ever have a real shot. *grin* )
