Rather than pimping, I should just buy the first season of burn notice for everyone I know that doesn't watch it....fleshlycherry is intrigued though :)

Also, she's asked me to send her my farscape dvds to borrow \0/ which is actually bad for me after she finishes the second season and can read twin regrets and join the chorus of voices demanding I finally finish the fic....

Fangirl posts with too much squee is a distinct possibility since methinks fleshlycherry and I will be sticking around the house and rewatching various fandom things (likely firefly) and sporadically drinking (you would be very amused by a hyper jebbypal on tequila as I know cherry is)

However, now that I have acquired slash goggles of late, Cherry and I have come to the conclusion that despite our slight age differences, different hair colors and body types, there is every likelihood that we are fandom clones. And her stories of running into helo at canadian cons may slightly have made me desirous of crashing one with her.

All in all, despite senior citizen life sucking that occurred, the weekends between sabaceanbabe's and here may be my best (possibly because it's the first that has lasted for more than 4 days that was not in OK) vacation in almost forever.

Also, did I mention the joys of tequila?

Internet has foiled our plan to watch due south as it seems to want us to download codec-c and when we google for that, a large number of the suggestions contain the word "virus". :( but, amazon actually has dvds for sale for cheap so maybe when I get home.

And now cherry is introducing me successfully to the anime series the last airbender......

Wow...while if I watch it too much it gets predictable, I always forget how much perfection the burn notice pilot is in so many ways.

As much as firefly defined my entry into active fandom, supernatural and farscape proved my angst addiction, burn notice continues to reliably hit every fandom kink I have.

About the only way they could improve it would be to add max martini full time. Okay, alan tudyk or gina torres wouldn't go amiss either. Just saying...
