Bright morning....

Words cannot express how happy I am that headache decided to abandon me in the night. Slept like crap do to it (and the springs in the mattress) but still, at least it went away around 3 am. Methinks I'll skip the greed diner tonight. Granted, I had the headache before I went last night, but it only got 100 times worse after.

Ah well, off to Niagara on the Lake where I'll be seeing a play at 2. Well, get ready first as I'm moving with my normal post-migraine slowness, but you get the picture.

When really irritating eye itchiness/uncomfortableness accompanies any product on your face (or hands), odds are, you are allergic.

Seriously, the soy sensitivity is almost more annoying than corn for face products since everyone wants to put tocopherols (vitamin e) into their products and it's generally from soy (unless it's from corn). Finally decided that the ZuZu Luxe makeup was being more trouble than it's worth when someone posted about another couple of mineral based cosmetics companies. Have tried the Signature Minerals samples twice now (once at home all day, then yesterday when sight seeing) and so far am very impressed. A little difficult to get used to a powder foundation since I'm used to liquid based ones always, but I think I'm getting the hang of it (at least, I don't notice anyone pointing and laughing and don't appear to look like Mimi). And it is relatively water proof based on the soaking I got yesterday.

(and no, I don't think it had any relation to the migraine from hell.)

Auuugh.

Plot bunny biting at my brain but I don't have my source material....At least, I doubt I can access my amazon online purchases in canada...Anyone know for sure? And if I can, I'd need to remember my amazon password or reset it. *shakes fist*

Sabaceanbabe, it's based off our conundrum around Fi...Think I should plan to postpone until I can finally watch the finale anyways....regardless, will still be a viable fic. Also need to decide on main POV - Fi, Mike, or Sam --- POV will drastically alter whether it's preseries, flashback, or just observation/talking....

ION, my vacation adventures today gave me a preview of life after retirement. I think I was the youngest tourist in town over the age of 18. And the only person there without a family member that didn't have silver/gray hair. It was kind of spooky. The play was okay - not worth the extra money I paid for the really good seats, but not bad. Nothing else in Niagara on the Falls to write home about.
