Quiet in these parts...
Jan. 30th, 2011 09:30 amWow, been a while since I posted. The white stuff saps my desire to do much beyond surf the net and watch tv...and that is soo not good for my employment though no one seems to have noticed thus far. *shhh* It'll be our secret.
I bailed on pretty much everything this weekend due to said white stuff. Friday was supposed to be game night with coworkers but by the time I got home, all I wanted to do was sleep and was worried about the snow melt turning too icy before it was over and so I canceled. Yesterday, was supposed to call R to make plans for a sunday date, but only managed to finally guilt myself into making the call around 5. I had been coughing, so I went with the "I think I'm getting sick" excuse. Probably not a great sign for long-term relationship if I'm already trying to think of excuses to keep me home alone instead of going out, eh? I fear that there are not enough sparks although we share a decent amount of interests...at least he's seen about 60% of the TV shows I mention. Ah well, we'll see.
( and behind door number 2 )
I should probably poke the frog with a stick as my normal time-passing movies in my head are stalling as well. Maybe he'll come out and play...
