jebbypal: (bunny back in box)
Well now, after resetting my alarm for a later time, I totally forgot to turn it on last night. One thing I seriously dislike about the new alarm -- it has to be turned off to set the time and then takes about five minutes to go back to the mode where you can turn it on. Then again, it does actually wake me (when I don't just crawl out for continual snoozing) so I guess all is not bad.

Mental mood is slowly going back to normal. Despite my toxic post, most of it hung with me all day, but a full night of sleep definitely helped. I think the having to sleep w/ the tv on constantly and stuff detracted from my rest ALOT when I was at home. Amazing that the noise here in the city actually seems like peace in comparison. There really is nothing I hate more than having to listen to the tv while falling asleep. Either music I know that will turn off instead of going the entire night, or absolute silence please (and then only reason I want music is to cover up the little household noises that will convince me that evil skin eating things are coming for me. Why, yes, I am 28 and my brain still behaves like a five year old in the dark. Are you new here?)

[livejournal.com profile] sixersfan, I do have the shirt to send you, but well, despite living close to post offices, I'm dreadful at going to them. I'm going to try to get them off by the weekend, but well, just saying:)

Crap, that reminds me, I need to do my bills so I can figure out how much money I have to thrown down the drain of taxes so I don't get killed by penalties in april. I will so like never ever having to pay estimated taxes again (unless I'm ever lucky enough to be self employed). I'd really like to know if I'm getting my reimbursement for the weekend at the swanky resort despite technically turning it in too late since I didn't flip to that page when they returned the reimbursement slips for the justification of a car rental to me. *bangs head* Which also reminds me I need to do all my reservations for the feb conference.

Five more months till I get my release from grad school purgatory forever. Hopefully I can say it will be from research purgatory as well, but who knows.

Mmm, at least I scored a backrub from B yesterday when I dropped off his OU shirts.

Okay, enough blathering about nothing (I know, you all are wishing I was confined to 56K always so I wouldn't spam as much! :P). Also really need to box up all those frakking bunnies.

So your mail is late. There may be a reason.

Just before Christmas Bush slipped a little present to himself into abill to reform Postal Service operations -- a signing statement thatasserts he can open anyone's mail any time he wants.

YIKES

Can I go back to the 1990s where the only thing interesting politically was Clinton's scandal and Hilary's past stock deals????

*looks for a cheap bunker to buy*
