Okay...yesterday wasn't food poisoning. But methinks maybe the effects of too many blueberries. *shrugs* All I can say is oww. actual physical pain like I'd just run 15 miles without stopping in my sides, not fun. Didn't last the entire night though:P

That's about all the big news. I did spend lots of time watching MI5 recently. I'm through epiosde 4. So far the only ones I really like are Tom and Zoe. Ooh, and Ripper, but he was only a once guest start. Hugh Laurie looks odd all greased up and british. Very very wierd. Mostly I'm glad they fixed the technical issues they had in the first episode---the music/sound effects were way too loud and it was really hard for me to make out the voices plus trying to decipher all the accents. And what's up w/ no closed captioning? (that or I haven't figured out the kinks in the ps2 cc system). Not incredible fandom love so far, but right now I do like it more than the Wire if only because there aren't quite so many annoying people on it. Well, that and I feel like the Wire is going over old territory that was better done in Homicide: Life on the Street.

very late for work as I rolled over into a different position to get a kink out of my neck and fell asleep again. Started off the night passed out on the couch before moving at 3 or so. I did have the wierdest ass dream. It was like Coupling meets Sex in the City. Very very very odd. All the Coupling folks were running around more out of it than usual. It was very entertaining. Not quite as entertaining as the dream I had back on Saturday about an incredibly hot guy...but hey, memorable.

Just got done walking to work and the heat index is indeed 100 here. The odd thing is that the high temps here don't feel as hot as OK almost ever. (the 80s w/ 90% humidity here however SUCK ASS). I mean, I recognize it's hot out when I'm walking to work and stuff, but it doesn't really feel like the high 90s to me. I dunno if it's because we never have more than a week of extra high temperatures so I never get too wilted or what.

but I'm bathed in sweat. And happy I wore shorts since even the lab feels a tad warm. Need to dig out my icon folder from my backups and upload my scarran icon again:)

gah, it would be today of all days...

My landlords are currently in my apartment. My apartment which is actually mostly clean EXCEPT for the sink FULL of dirty dishes.

GAAAAHHHHHHHH! *FLAILS*

I wouldn't mind so much if they weren't there to investigate the BAD SEWER BATHROOM SMELL. I can just hear them telling me what said smell is coming from in their opinion.

Thankfully I did take out the garbage (foul smelling due to thrown away broccoli). I even *gasp* made my bed. (a habit now for a week or so since B has taken to coming over to escape his roomate). And I cleaned the bathroom this weekend so there's no orange crap growing on the sink from splashed water.

I didn't empty the bathroom trash though.

I can only hope they are gone by the time I get home so I don't die of mortification. I really preferred anonymous rental companies where you didn't have to worry about this stuff. And I wouldn't have to worry about this except that all the units in the building were sold so all the staff in the building ARE LEAVING and we won't have a true maintenance staff until the first of august.

*gnashes teeth*

Moral of the story: NEVER EVER EVER REMAIN IN A BUILDING THAT CONVERTS TO CONDOS UNLESS YOU PLAN ON BUYING YOUR UNIT. No matter how much you don't want to move.

Did find out the new lease signing will occur mid august ish. So I may look around to see what the prices are of other things I may want just in case I change my mind. *nods* Yep.

And we won't mention how annoyed I am at labmates that stood in the study room while all the papers I printed out were printing BLANK because the ink had run out. Gaaah.

cassiee is fine. She just got frustrated at some stuff and instead of throwing shoes or grapefruit, she threw LJ this time.
