And in other news, for those who missed the critics choice awards last night, Jensen Ackles and Padelecki presented an award. Though it was kinda a let down. They both acted like they were robots and didn't crack one joke. I don't know if they were just nervous since Clooney and Spielberg were front and center, but dude, what a let down.

Okay, yeah, I'm finally going to get ready and go to work:P:P:P I'm telling you, if I could only find a job that was as fun as fandom, well, I guess if that happened, the world would end the next day in all likelihood. So remember folks, when I complain about my job and life, it's the sacrifice I make so the the world keeps spinning.

Unexpected rolls on

Well, I posted another scene for the fic I'm writing llembas. Unbetaed, and possibly to grow a bit more before I actually post over at the fanfic journal...the scene that is. The story is definitely going to grow since it would be generous to say i might be a quarter of the way through it.

Gahh...made a smart comment to lab mates about my body breaking down when I turned 25...and apparently pissed my body off. Not a half hour later, I somehow managed to bend my ankle in such a way as to royally piss it off. NOt twisted or sprained mind you, but rather this oh so wonderful knack my ankles inherited from my mother of allowing a nerve or something to pass into an area where it gets pinched every time you put wait on it.

Which of course is going to make my rest of my day oh so fun especially since I'm supposed to meet friends for dinner. Guess I'll have to call them and say we're going near the place near me because there's no way I'm walking out of my way now.

Hopefully it will go back in just as fast otherwise I get to have fun with ice packs tonight (because if it stays pinched long enough the foot will swell as if I sprained it).

Ahh crap.

Well, I got the A/V cords, but I just realized something else I didn't pay attention to when I bought my vcr.

If a vcr doesn't have a clock built in, it doesn't exactly do well for taping shows at specific times, does it? I'm guessing this thing probably can't even tape a show on one channel when I'm watching another. We'll see if it works.

Ah well, at least I only paid fifty bucks for it I guess.

ETA...woops, guess I freaked out prematurely. It does have an internal clock apparently and the remote hides the ability to time record. *crosses fingers*
