Okay, true or not, how can anyone think this is funny?

Seriously, if anyone believed I'd thrown a defenseless animal into a fire while it was alive, I'd be pissed. I was pissed when I read the story when it was believed true, and the old man's reaction that anyone thought it was true still pisses me off.

IMHO, if someone throws a living animal into a fire and then as a result that person's house burns down -- they deserved it.
