Ha Ha -- joke's on you

So yeah, when a management company says that they are "renovating" a laundry room, don't assume that you'll get NEW washer/dryers or even FUNCTIONAL ones.

One dryer already broken. One of the four I used didn't dry very well. And it's not an issue of how long the cycle lasts -- they do go for 60 min. Course that's fun since the washing machines go thirty.

Siiigh.

Well, this is what I get for leaving it to the last minute.

I can't find the power cord to the old laptop that I was going to take home (and leave there). Hence, no reason to take since I don't even know if the battery still has any charge. Siigh.

Not sure if I appropriated that cord for my ps2 when it came sans power cord, or if it didn't fit and got tossed elsewhere.

Now to debate whether to take my precious with me. Would make life easier in that a) I could watch carnivale in peace in my room, b) wouldn't have to burn all my firefly/farscape refs to disc, and c) music vids!!!

Will decide tomorrow. NOw to bed w/ hope to be up by 7. Since I still need to pack etc. :P And really should be leavinng home by 11am at the latest. And need to pack. :P:P

Yeppers. Packing seems to be going swell...*crosses fingers* Currently hurriedly burning some new stuff to computer for transfer to mp3 player for plane ride.

Ummm......yeah, not a lot to say. poisontaster, I assume you have uncharted_elves in hand --- though I totally don't know whether there will be many teaser gifts. So high res pics will be all you should have to deal w/ and luridmuse can help you out w/ that most likely. Or sdwolfpup in a pinch prob.

I'm going to cross my fingers that my two batteries for my pda will make it without me taking the charger---cause that's a hassle. Plus, one less cord for the mp3 player since it can charge off the computer. Think I've talked myself into taking my good computer as well out of safety/ease .... my back won't thank me for it tomorrow (especially if I have to do any long hikes at O'Hare), but well, I won't be as worried. taking new watch as well...though it's wrapped up cause I ain't going to scratch it on the plane. May or may not finish getting it fitted -- B insists he can do better than what I experienced yesterday.

Plane leaves a bit later than I thought, so I don't have to rush quiet so much to get shower. Food prepped, just have to throw it into bag (which will serve as purse due to the finikiness about letting someone on w/ a carryon, a purse, and a food bag).

Umm, yeah, that's it. Talk to you guys on the redneck side.
