It wants out ... and in a big way. Actually, I think making the journal let it out. And now it won't let my mind focus on science.

Okay...I don't want to focus on science. It's boring...and hard...and River wants to play. And who's bright idea was it to feed the frog radioactive grasshoppers?? Really. Bad horde.

Oh, well, might as well go to work and see if I can focus better there. Maybe I'll beat the rain??

a reminder to firefly community mods

Since it appears that a little reaver is going through the communities and posting an advertisement for fandom clothing etc, I'll remind the mods of all the communities that we have global delete ability:)

course, I may be the only one this annoys.

this is the reaver I refer to. Appears to have only created a journal for pimping its stuff. Which, I wouldn't mind the pimp so much if they posted a link back to their own journal. Or only emailed the cortex.

So far, it doesn't appear to have joined any of the communities that we mod, flist. More's the pity. Nothing like a little reaver in the morning to wake my inner zoe:)

Well...I think I just survived my once yearly attempt to kill myself. I swear, once a year, my body just forgets how to drink liquids. Fortunately I turned away from my baby fast enough that I didn't corrupt the keyboard (or harddrive given its a laptop).

Man...you know, going through and copying fics over to frogs_fics is a) hard work and b) entirely too encouraging to my muse. I'll see if my brain actually cooperates in typing it out, because at this point typing anything coherently will be encouraging even if it isn't work related.

And totally screwed my experiment up today. When will I learn to NOT ask the lab techs how to do anything. Asked if I should dilute a buffer in water or PBS and they said PBS...turns out that was wrong so I had a ton of calcium phosphate preciptiation in my staining solution which probably killed my cells and also probably destroyed the staining conditions. Ahh well, meant I got to come home early...right when it started to pour!!
