I just can't win

It's always such a lottery as to what the temperature at work will be and I can't figure out a rhyme or reason to it. Yesterday it was down right chilly, so I figured I'd wear a long sleeve shirt so that maybe I wouldn't have to wear the fleece jacket while I worked (yes, I washed it last night). But but...it's downright HOT in hear. Desert hot. You can even feel the heat coming off all the freezer. Uuuuggghhh.

I suspect I'll have to go and change out of these wool socks before I start working seriously. I can't ever concentrate if my feet are hot.

Progress!!!

And about damn time too after over a week of writer's block when it came to sitting in front of a computer and thinking about my thesis. I seriously curse my need to have a BEGINNING before I can do anything writing wise!! This goes infinitely more for academics --- I can actually contemplate writing scenes of a story out of order nowadays, but god, tell me I need to write a paper for science, and I can't do squat until I have the first introductory sentence! It's torture.

But I have a full page which basically equals my aims. Now to go back and do the background portions and put in all the citations I've conveniently left out cause I don't feel like DIGGING through my three notebooks and umpteen computer folders. *bangs head*

And as always, my brain just needed a calm down and focus call to B. Seriously, I'm beginning to wonder how I made it through writing college term papers without him. Oh, yeah, I didn't care about them and they didn't matter. Duh.

Gah, I've become such a girl since I've met him. Guess I'll have to get mad at him for it at a later date though.

And brownies win..

The poll was actually tied 50/50 between brownies and cookies (at least last I checked), but since it's been forever since I've made my own brownies (thanks to the okayish ones from TJs), I decided to go with something different.

Just an FYI;) 15 minutes till brownies.

B looked over what I did for my aims and seemed to think that with a few additions, it'll be okay. Still need to do the background and references, but it's a big load off my shoulders to have it started and turning out okay.
