(no subject)

Yeah so I finished season 2 and wasn't wanting to say anything about this but now that I can't jinx myself --- first boxset to NOT screw up on any single episode so that a show had to be played on my computer!!! So either all the other box sets are cheaply made or the xbox has problems w/ tightly coded discs that have too much info on them?? cause I didn't have any probs w/ season 2 -- didn't mind that there were only 2-3 episodes/disc or anything else and the menu looked fine to me. All of it was worth it to just not have the freaking discs freak out on me!!!

Acccckkk! The horror

Sooo...The Shield Season 2 arrived today and only confirmed my suspicions that you still can't beat ebay. Stupid seller mailed it only in a bubble wrap package w/ one little bitty fragile stamp on it through the postal service...and word of warning to any in the area, the Philadelphia Post Office hub really enjoys eating and demolishing packages!!! So there were some tears in the outer envelope...and I opened...and the 2 dvd cases (in flimsy itty bitty box holder that comes w/ set) were like crushed. And multiple shaking noises from broken plastic pieces inside. I'm hoping that the raised edges from where the dvds sit saved the discs from getting scratched...but I'm not even sure if I can watch them all before the five day "return" period. Actually going to email the seller now. I mean, yeah, they said to get insurance, but if you mail it in bad packaging??

Oh well...the seller that sent the farscape ones at least didn't scrimp. *hugs farscape*

Guess I'll go get rid of some of my stress by seeing if the shield will play at all.
