Well, hopefully my feet are fixed. Went on long excursion last night w/ some friends that involved the mall and got to make my stop at The Walking Company. The plan had fully been to try on some ecco's so I could later order them from Zappos.com...sadly, i got a great sales guy that managed to get me to buy the shoes there :P But, they had this machine there that also tells you what kind of shoe insert you need given where you put your weight on your feet --- and they sell the orthotic inserts that the machine recommends for a measly 45 bucks (which is cheap considering the prescription ones are 200 bucks a pop and my insurance sure as hell wouldn't cover it). so now I have arch support --- sadly, must break my feet into them bcause my arches are sooo not used to being involved in the walking process (literally feels like I have to relearn how to walk), but hey....if it saves my achilles and helps my back it will be worth it.
So yeah...if you have feet probs, I highly recommend you find your local Walking Company. I think they are pretty much nationwide nowadays. And the inserts have their names on them as well as being called Lynco Biomechanical orthotic systems.
Off to have happy feet:)
