jebbypalA few different meanings to that subject line.
First one is I'm in Oklahoma again. And wow, does actually having reliable LTE signal make the hill much less boring when it's holiday TV time on the major networks (since there's no reception for much else out here in non-cable land).
Flight out was...eventful. Newark airport decided for some reason to have only 1 security scanner up and running for the economy line for the entire A terminal meaning waits of >45 minutes to get through security. After enough people complained they were going to miss their flights to absolutely no pity from TSA beyond "ask your fellow passengers if you can cut in line" (which is much more likely to happen when you don' thave 3 plane-fulls of people trying to get through to their flights), they finally allowed us to start going into the "fast and priority" lanes. *rolls eyes* Only upside, less time to wait in the crappy A terminal which has less than nothing to occupy you.
Then on my little puddle jumper plane, it should have been a nice flight since I had plenty of room in my exit row seat, and no one around me had on any strong smelling scents or strong smelling food. Except no, I had 2 chatty cathy's sitting behind me who also couldn't understand the concept that every time they grabbed my headrest to stand that it jostled me AND if you grabbed the top of the head rest, then you were also grabbing handfulls of my hair. I was getting cussing mad and only the knoweldge of youtube being forever kept me in my seat though by the end of it I was cussing at them.
Oh, and that was all combined with 45 minutes of sitting on the runway waiting to take off :P:P:P
Other than that, doing okay. Starting to have a bit of guilt of how much easier it is to be home and have holidays without Mom underfoot (since one had to try to continually keep her from doing work that would set her Reynaud's off, or chase after her with her walker when she decided she needed something and didn't want to take it, plus keeping an ear out when watching a movie that she didn't fall in one of the back rooms, etc, ad infinitum).
