ginger is the bomb
Jun. 22nd, 2014 04:58 pmSo, yeah, was still sick from fumes yesterday. Nauseau all morning till I ate my sweet and sour pork with lots of ginger at lunch. Then went out and started my day oh shopping. HOme depot first which was likely a mistake. Spent way too long looking for what I needed and too much time close to the lumber department so offgassing fumes had me feeling crappy soon. Then best buy and a home goods store.
then lenscrafters to pick up glasses. Ugh. Was in there for maybe 20 minutes and came out with headache and nauseau. WAlked around the mall for 15 minutes to ensure my eyes were adjusted to the new prescription since my astigmatism changed slightly then drove to whole foods. still felt really crappy and hoped ginger would do the trick again so I grabbed sushi. It definitely helped but I was still hypersensitive all day.
Woke up this morning and realized my neck muscles, which have been oddly sore for no reason for 2 days since the lenscrafter experience started, didn't hurt. I also have not been nauseous and my glasses don't feel like they are about to squeeze my head in 2.
Needless to say all my plans for clean clean clean today have gone out the window in the interest of having a day in which I don't expose myself to anything toxic because this feels glorious. Glorious.
Have I mentioned lately how much I hate being a human canary?
I did write to LC yesterday and heard back already today. Supposedly they are looking into it. Still debating an independent report to osha/epa.
