I really dug the voiceovers this week as it really got into Mike's operative at any cost headspace which we haven't quite seen to the same extent very often.

Man, you know what would be an awesome fic for someone to do - rewrite one of the eps from the POV of sam or fi with voiceovers and all. However, after doing something similar with Jayne and the pilot episode of firefly, I have absolutely NO desire to be that person.

Also, the scenes with Madeline were absolutely FABOO!!!!! I loved that her conviction that none of the things the fbi showed here were true remained strong, especially as it we've never specifically seen Mike sit her down to explain the whole burn notice, his file, and what it means in comparison to what he really did (and I doubt that happened as taht's a bit too much truth for the Westens). Also, finally a pay-off on her guilt for not leaving Frank and what it caused Mike to have to go through.

And that last scene where she assaulted FBI guy \0/ So much love. Management better hope he never meets Madeline Westen.

I so need a bad ass Madeline icon now.

I need any Maddie icon at all. I don't think I have any or have seen any ever. That's a shame that someone (maybe me depending on my mood this weekend) should rectify. Not that I'm terribly great at icons, but still...
