I'm in the market for a good desk chair - does anyone have suggestions for places to look where I can demo them? Went to staples today but was woefully underwhelmed by the selection. I'm looking especially for chairs that are adjustable in at least three directions (seat height, back position, and arm height), if not four (able to rotate arms so their closer to my body). My 9 year old chair is functional, but not comfortable by any stretch of the imagination. I saw one at Staples that might do (especially after getting home and realizing that my current 4way adjustable chair does not allow me to have arm support totally when I type -- it's one arm only sort of thing. And no, telescoping arm supports aren't doable w/ current desk setup).

Thanks.

You know, I got a chair from Staples about 3 years ago. Everything is adjustable and the back is curved for proper support. Also, the seat and back are mesh so that I don't stick. It's starting to get a bit decrepit now (hard use by 3 women over 3 years), but I was very pleased with my purchase.

You might want to check office furniture clearing houses. Their stuff is used, but you sometimes luck out and find something of very good quality at a decent price.
