I'd forgotten it was Paddy Day weekend. I have to say, it's very very nice to be outside of a center city and not surrounded by bars (though there are a couple a few blocks away). No drunk sounds filtering in day and night as the bar crawls go by.

Now to only hope the neighbors don't have a nice big party.

*this is not to rain on anyone's parade. I hope you all had an enjoyable sloppy buzzed weekend*

At 11am today I squeezed onto a train loaded with two dozen yelling drunk 20-somethings, which train proceeded to stall, stutter, and crawl its way downtown where I had a full day at work.

heh...yeah, there are times public transit sucks. Reminds me of the time we got stuck on the subway coming back from the hockey game. The hotter it got, the sicker I felt and none of the drunks would stop hollering.
