Dear Dean-o,

Just because other computers are having troubles, does not mean you need to imitate. Also, me looking at the Dell website was just a moment of idle fancy, really. You work so well it's not like I need a new computer. And I know you really want to go on vacation w/ me somewhere fun if I save some money up.

So no more hiccups, okay? And I promise to buy more CDRs to take stuff off of you with.

How much do I not like noticing that my bibliography has to be alphebetized and spending 10 minutes getting endnote to tell me how to do it??

Whatever you do, do NOT get a Dell! They slow down over time (usually only months after you bought it) for no explainable reason. My mother, father, and sister all experienced this, which is why I will never touch one!

Honestly, I've had lots of luck w/ Dell -- granted, myself, i've only ever really used their laptops. My parents have had issues w/ the regular desktops, but then again, not sure how much that was due to spyware and them buying a computer w/ celeron processor before celerons were any good.

What brand have you had luck w/?

I've had a lot of luck with Toshiba, and surprisingly Compact. My sister is loving her current HP computer as well.
