Sep. 22nd, 2007 06:42 pmWell, I finally got my hair cut!! Probably almost two inches off so that it is now just above my shoulders again. And man, that takes sooo much weight off my head. Hair really shouldn't be so heavy.
And I believe I've confirmed that American Grill is off my safe places to eat. Fortunately, no GI issues, but I did congest up to the point that I was hacking my lungs up for ten minutes after I finished my sandwich. And then, by the time my hair appointment was over and I got done shopping at Eddie Bauer (too much money spent, but I really needed more than the same five shirts to wear to work.), my ears were hurting, my fun nerve neck pain had started, and sinuses on one side ached. An aleve took care of the neck pain. I couldnt' remember which color capsule was my asprin in my little box, so I went to Borders and got some tea. After I got through at Target, it had finally cooled enought o drink and it substantially helped the ear aches and backed the sinus pain off. With the fun weather changes, the sinus pain is trying to come back, but now that I'm home, it can. (I still have nightmares about all the times I drove in college with blinding sinus migraines, my neck hurting, and constantly falling asleep at the wheel from all the corn. Not fun. Not as bad as if it's GI, but well...)
Target...whooh boy. I specifically went there to get a tire pressure gauge and an ice scraper. Guess what, Target isn't stocking ANY cold weather car stuff yet. Really, I mean, it is almost fall. You have the halloween stuff out. Why not the cold weather car stuff? I mean, these are things you want to have BEFORE THE FIRST FROST. Fortunately, I stopped to get gas before I headed back to Jersey and went inside for restroom stop (thanks, Tea). Wawa did have Ice scrapers and other cold weather stuff. Yay!!
So car gear is mostly complete. I bought another vacuum that will hopefully work out better than the last purchase. Oh, and when I don't detour through philly to pick people up, it only takes a bit over an hour to get to Wilmington from here. Methinks B will be meeting me there rather than me picking him up in the future if we have hair appointments! The driving in Saturday Wilmington traffic also greatly beats the driving in Route 1 traffic around the Princeton/Lawrenceville area on Saturday. Not worth an hour drive better, but it wasn't nearly as stressful.
And Sweet Charity remains open for about 15 more minutes!! Go, bid!

Date: 2007-09-22 11:28 pm (UTC)This kind of problem would never happen here.... Canadian Tire has cold weather equipment year round... in case that Day after Tomorrow thing happens. :P
