*nods* To me they do. Unlike the green kiwi, golden kiwi are never too bitter to eat. They are always sweet, but not overly sweet. Compared to a perfect green kiwi, they might almost seem blandish. Banana-ish in flavor but sweeter is the best description I can offer.
(really, it's the texturet hat really adds to it for me for some reason. Plus, a fruit w/ tons of calcium!)
last year I got them at trader joes only. This year I just found them at shop rite mixed in with the green ones (shop rite being a "normal" grocery store up here).
I like the green too, but sometimes it can be difficult to get them ripe up here and then they are tooooo tart.
