The problem with long writing hiatuses (hiatusi?) is simple....

Feedback becomes bunny/muse crack.

Here goes the negotiating with the muse that we wrote what we wanted to write, that we lack time to delve into it, and there are a lot of actual WIP available if it really wants to flex it's muscles.

However, I have a suspicion that my muse would be a republican if it were not a part of my brain and an amphibian, so I'm not hopeful that this will work....

Of course, the good news is the set up would be short....of course, those are famous last words, no?
