jebbypalSo, the new improved grad student (male) working with B, D, recently purchased Firefly all on his own based on something he'd read or something. Which amused B because if he'd said something, B would have loaned him his copy.
D came to lunch today w/ B and started talking about how much he enjoyed the first disc but how it wasn't really science fiction, but rather "a Western in space".
The funny part: He'd either never heard, or didn't recall, seeing any of Joss's (or anyone else's) description of Firefly using those exact words.
I wonder if he'd be amenable to Scaping. Of course, what he enjoys most about it seems to be how they always end up fighting.
