Ugly Betty totally relaxed me. Supernatural rocked. And Men in Trees took the edge off (though there was the requisite mute for embarassing pain Marin moment).

"If it's the last thing I do, I'll save you".

SOOOO DEAN. And more proof that if their roles had been reversed in the season finale, Dean wouldn't have been able to shoot John either.

And omg, I sooo love bobby. And now we can guess how John met him -- he got conned. No doubt, he was the one to teach John and Dean the credit card scam and many other of their illegal activities. I was worried for a minute about Bobby, and thought it was odd that he didn't have salt around the entrance given that yellow eye demon is out there and Bobby did play a role in killing one of his kids (well, sorta, back to hell anyways), but the holy water in the beer was priceless.

"You had a girl in your body for a week" --- how great is it that our fandom actually gives us the gender switch jokes? Granted, they can't quite actually carry it out like Farscape did, but still!

I actually liked Jo in this episode. It's going to be very awkward for Sammy if they run into her again.

In summary, one of the top five SPN episodes I think. Kripke, your show does best when you do an actual monster of the week or furthers the meta arc. Stop your writers from doing metaphysical crap like the last episode. Though you can keep the story Dean told about his mother in canon -- that stays. Let's wipe the rest of it out though, k? thx.

I agree with you that this is a top episode. Fine work from everyone.

Dean wouldn't have been able to stop Demon!Daddy, as he was the one, bleeding on the ground, begging Sam not to shoot their Dad. ;-)

Bobby is seriously awesome.
