yeah, the vacation from LJ didn't last (as if any were worried that it would:P)..

Remembered that the last time I tried to reup my paid account, it didn't take and it was about to expire and I didn't want to worry about it. Besides, there's easier, non passive aggressive ways to take a break from LJ --- like just not going to the site. We've been over this right -- self control isn't my forte.

Trying to decide if [livejournal.com profile] les342's sweet charity fic is done or not. I push at the bunny and the bunny just stares back. Need to recapture twin regrets bunny and then figure out Pt's next sweet charity fic after that (november will come no matter how much I don't want it to. *tries to block out thoughts of next committee meeting*).

Still waiting for all of mom's tests to come back/occur. I think the surgery is actually next week. Good news is bone doctor was a little bit of an ass and did go through step by step w/ them that there is bone growth on one side, but no where else. But before they decide whether to do another bone graft, they need to know what's up w/ cancer and weight loss and get her some muscle back .... cause otherwise there's no way that can happen again since she's pretty much almost weaker than she was last november. Her primary care doc has told her there's no need to go to an endocrinologist until they do a bunch of Gi studies including a colonoscopy. Can I just say that INVASIVE scares the shit out of me right now? I can only imagine how much they can manage to fuck up a colonoscopy. Yeah, so she's over 50. So what, we've not seen ANY symptoms that there is actually a problem w/ her gut at all in my opinion beyond the LOADS of meds and vitamins she's taking. And I can't imagine how the hell she's going to deal w/ the fasting/clearing necessary for a colonoscopy. Gah. I can't actually say this though cause i really don't want to freak her out more than she is and honestly I think she's beyond the point where any gp can understand her condition. The guy she's with isn't half bad and she can get in to see him fast in an emergency.

And I'm back in my philly induced lethargia, sorry, sixerfan, grad school indcued lethargia -- is that better? I really liked sleeping for 8 or less hours and waking up w/ energy. It was very very very nice. I'm also undergoing some minor allergy related adjustments w/ being back here (I refuse to say that I might be getting a cold. I'm not getting that folks). Last night I did fill myself full of fat -- I think my body needed it as it resulted in me feeling a bit better. ;) fatty chocolate, the cure for all that ails ya.

That's what I meant. I know I bought you for her this time and when I read your post, I remembered that I bought you for her last time too. She must really like your writing.
