god, i'm so sick of the annoying ads that aren't pop ups but rather embedded in the page and then fly over what ever you try to read. And half the time you have to fucking SEARCH for the "close" function --- assuming that particular one has it.

Advertisers: I don't pay attention to the subject, I just look for the off. Stop being annoying.

Flist: is there any way to block these damn things yet?????? Hell, Ask Ausiello even has one of the most annoying ever -- the damn "newlywed" ad that blares at top volume. gaah.

I feel your pain. From all I've been able to spot, they usually don't -- although for those annoying blinky repetitive Flash ads that hover in the same place off on the border of your page, you can right-click to zoom in on them sufficiently that they're only a solid color.

If you figure out a way, by all means, pass that knowledge along! : )

YES!!! Those are SO annoying, and I'll most likely be more compelled to boycott the stupid product than anything else! OYE!!

And then the ones with sound... the flash ones at the top of the page? There's this one with a fly buzzing around on photoshop that I desperatley would like to shoot...
