Went to work for a short bit yesterday before meeting a friend who was in the area for the weekend. It was a good time, although her fiance's sister is....ODDNESS. The fiance is odd enough but the little sister is that times ten. Ah well, it was still a nice afternoon.

Except for the part where I got home and realized that no, my upper legs were not sunburned so much as RASH. Non itchy rash, but blotchy, raised redness is not a sunburn, especially with the distribution pattern it was in. I don't know whether to hope it was something on the outside of the bag from Reading Terminal that did it (though I then don't understand why it didn't do similar things to the sides of my legs), something I somehow brushed against at a store...I don't like the idea that it is actually a reaction to the sun (too much of a possible link w/ lupus or sclerderma then, both of which I'm hoping that my dad's genes prevented me from getting my mom's). It stayed red and raised all night even after a shower and liberal dosing with aloe. This morning it's not raised anymore, but I still have blotchiness in the areas where it was worst as if I'd been scratching my legs hard enough to break a lot of blood vessels -- which I didn't cause it wasn't itchy. Siiigh.

I actually watched Lilo and Stitch on TV in it's entirety last night. Cute movie, definitely not what I thought it was.

Today today.....I decided to hold off on my first at the expensive gym workout till tomorrow so that I will only break one muscle group instead of two (though i'm sure mona would enjoy laughing at me as I groan to get up or down if I did my legs before I went to see her!)....also managed to talk myself out of going to work as well. I just need a ME day after last week. Gah. So today's agenda will be laundry, cleaning, and writing, not necessarily in that order.

And tomorrow afternoon, DC AND [livejournal.com profile] mona1347. :):):)
