*mourns the fact that I've fallen in love with another fandom that is bound and determined to be overrun by slash fic* Really, I thought I'd learned my lesson with The Sentinel. Not that there's anything wrong with slash....I just hate to see every close m/m relationship boiled down into sexual tension/relationship just as much as I hate to see every m/f relationship done like that. Friendship exists people. Even healthy ones sometimes.

Yes, I'm cranky. I do have to go to work today but after crashing on the couch last night w/out doing dishes, washing face, or ANYTHING, well, I indulged with fanfic this morning. With not all bad results. ;) Even found a couple of Firefly fics to nominate for the Strawberries myownself. I made huge inroads on doing the nomination notices last week, so unless I get buried with new noms, should be able to keep up with them relatively well. Figure I'll do the rest early early next week.

Numbers was good last night though GOOOOOOOODDDDD, I hate it when a show starts lecturing to you. It's one of the major reason that the only L&O franchise I can stand to watch anymore is CI, why I avoid almost all other criminal shows with a passion. I don't mind the math lectures on numbers, but omg, the organ donor scene at the end, and in the middle, and god. Just stop it, writers. STOP IT!!!!!! It's lazy, it's condescending, and I HATE IT. if you can't let the viewer draw a conclusion then STOP WRITING.

*sighs*

Ghost Whisperer continues to be my guilty indulgence despite how much I want to not like the show. Mostly because of the cute husband. Which is another of the reasons I watch Medium after all(but there, I get cute cop too). At least GW acknowledges past disagreements and builds on them, which I like. One of these days, I like the writers for Medium to acknowledge that the couple has had the same fight about 8 times now. And for Allison to get forcefed sleeping pills so the rest of the family can get a full night sleep.

But hey, the cold snap enabled me to eat three meals a day without feeling sick:) And two days w/out weather induced sinus migraines. Now then, today, I'm going to indulge and buy another pair of god forsakenly highpriced sweats that are oh so comfy even if the do have the name of hell *Penn* printed on them.

Now I shall go and play some Ratchet and Clank while I *gasp* cook food before I get ready for a long day of work.
