jebbypalWheee, I woke up at a decent time today:) And apparently it's refueling day for oil because the heat is off *dances*. Of course, outside it just looks yucky with lots of haze:P Ah well, still supposedly warmish. Must figure out what wind is doing before I commit to a coat though.
OH, and saw more bad news on the midwest drought. Fires are continuing but GW finally declared 12 OK counties disaster (or whatever the term was). And on Jan 9, there was huge dust storm starting in Texas and extending to the northeast corner of OK. Which, I know how bad the wind and dirt was back during the xmas break so I can only imagine.
I'm going to get to work work this weekend it appears. Hopefully only a full full day on Saturday. I do get Monday off, so regardless I should be able to have one day to myself. But I'll probably be there full day tomorrow since it looks like I'll need to finish up an experiment for the fellow whose on call this weekend. Not bad.
Also have a lot of writing to do. TR Ch9 is back from a beta and does need to be cleaned up. I actually have a decent bit written on Ch10. Unexpected continues to come in bits and pieces during walks...now if it would only come when I want it to:P I am being good though and getting at least gists of scenes down when I can --- yes, I know, voice recorders. For some reason, I'm really ummm, self conscious about dictating a fanfic to my pda in full view of the public. I have a feeling the men in white coats would come from me. I also have another fic in the works that needs to take equal priority with Unexpected. I think I got some of it down last night, but I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about that when I go back. Me writing right after watching TV usually ends up in talking heads. Me writing at 1 am rarely ends up with much coherency. Put the two together and well, I'm scared to look. And the other secret project, yeah, not much has happened on that for months. Plus I need to get this place back to a semblance of organized that I had it before I packed to go home. And get the humidifier up and running:P:P:P
I also need to figure out if my W2 is coming to the correct place or not this year. *rolls eyes* Penn makes that soooo difficult because dude, it's not enough that you've changed your addy with the health service, the registrar, and the BGS office. Oh no, you also have to remember to do it at a place that you never ever ever ever have any contact with except once a year. Cause you know, they couldn't have all the different branches on the same computer system and, I don't know, COMMUNICATE with each other.
Ah well, a bit of goodish news at least, though very far off in the future. VENTURE BROS wll be back as of June 11:):) And DVDS of season 1 will be out sometime in May. Yeah, the sciency snark that is just oh so close to reality. Really, you have no idea!!
And I tried mussels last night. Not impressed. Though I'm told they were apparently improperly drained and oldish. Still, dude, I can't eat anything that smells like an old sweat sock. Heck, I had trouble eating anything after those things got put on the table. *holds nose*
Oh crap. And I HAVE to do laundry tonight. As in no more clothes to wear (at least, none that accompany my little cocoa-hazelnut gut). I also need to figure out if I'm doing these core exercises properly because my midsection was not sore at all from the trial earlier this week. Granted, I didn't throw my shoulder out like I was worried about, but still. I think my legs were doing most of the work and I need to figure out how to isolate the muscle. Which will probably involve me having B laugh at me and wonder how any human can manage to move so "wrongly".
