Holiday Wishlists
Dec. 4th, 2005 07:28 pmStep One:
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered . . . whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a _____ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two:
- Surf around your friends list (or friend's friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
- Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off my list.
You know, my list this year is actually pretty simple;) I want my flist to have a good year next year. I want Dec the 6 to go off without a hitch. I REALLY want to graduate by August or at least just be to the writing stage (not much you guys can do to help me there).
Beyond those things, how about some nice and simple fandom fun to distract us all from the season? :)

- Wash Fic.
- Zoe fic. Niether of these two has any need to be W/Z fic.
- Chiana fic. Bonus for Chiana/John that is believable...Smut it up if you like, but I prefer the plotsy ones.
- BSG fic. *bats eyes* Helo centric....mayhaps some that doesn't make him out to be quite as dumb as a stone
- You guys always know I never turn down icons by my lovely icon godesses and god
- If all else fails, point me towards good fic. And if it fits my Jayne request from before, even more thanks
- Okay, and you know, all writers are insecure in some part, so I know you guys won't think me too big-headed to ask. Could someone please ask for a dvd commentary of one of my fics already??

Date: 2005-12-05 06:00 am (UTC)I think I made a mistake putting my 'go ahead and ask for a dvd commentary' in a post along with many other things. I havn't gotten a single request :(

Date: 2005-12-04 08:56 pm (UTC)What I would love from you is the next chapter of your Moya!John on Serenity fic. I adore that thing to pieces and have been pimping it everywhere. If I was more familiar with your work I would ask for commentary--but I sure would love commentary on this WIP when you are ready.
I'll see about a john/chiana fic as I love those too.
Thanks for the meme. I want to ponder it some.
